    hi

I am currently stickless and I need a new stick I had a grays kn12000 but I didn't think it lived up to its price tag. I have looked up a few stick and I like the look of the Mazon Blackmagic Slingshot and the Osaka pro tour silver pro groove. Please help

    Position played: striker
    Budget: unlimited

Style of Play: dribbling and hitting
Do you hit/slap or push more? slap
Do you drag-flick and/or Aerial? both
Do you use a lot of close Stick skills? yes

    Preferences:
    Stick Size: 36.5
    Bow: Low(200-210mm)(also with groove)
Head shape: Hook, Oversized Maxi, Maxi, Midi (with or without a tapered toe?) doesn't mind
    Stiffness: Stiff
Balance point: High (Balance point is where you can hold the stick on a finger and balance it, measured from the bottom of the stick. Low balance point means a bit more of the weight in the head. High balance point means a bit closer to the handle of the stick)

    Current Stick: Grays KN12000
What do you like about it? the bow and weight
What don't you like about it? don't feel like it's as good as its price

Have you tried any other sticks at a shop or borrowed from a team mate? no
If yes, What did you like/dislike about it?
If no, Could you get to a shop or borrow a team mates stick to try? yes I live near game set and match

The Osaka Pro Tour Silver has a groove on the face but is not actually a low bow in the truest sense (it has a bow at 250mm rather than at 200mm). I have a new Blackmagic Slingshot in the post and I'll be posting a review of that once I've got it and used it for a bit, although that probably won't be for a few weeks. If you can't wait that long, there are other reviews of Mazon's sticks on here and I'd recommend having a look at those. If not, go in to your local shop and try some sticks - since budget isn't an issue for you, you can literally try every stick in the shop and pick the one you like most. May I ask, did your KN12000 break or something - is this why you need a new stick?

I'd recommend getting a ritual specialist 95. Someone on here is selling a second hand one VERY cheap.
What didn't you like about the KN12000?

Hmm okay, I won't be able to do a full review by then but still take a look at them if you can. The Osaka sticks are usually on the heavier side of things so that might put you off a little bit, while the Slingshot will be lighter. Other than that, I can't really give a confident recommendation at this point so the best thing to do is probably just head into your hockey shop and try them out.

Might be worth trying very nice high end. Also Kuka make a nice stick that's a full low bow with a groove it's the x24 on their website. A new brand worth looking at is Oakley hockey as well very nice low bow with a groove

Samurai was a good suggestion ;)
You could look at it in the Taboo Original, Taboo BlueSteel or the flagship Tour range.

GSAM don't stock the tour samurai, but did have a couple taboo samurais in at the start of the month
