i was wondering how to lift the ball from a reverse hit/tomahawk so I can hit the netting as opposed to the backboard. I get a lot of power from my reverse hits and they are pretty accurate and occasionally lift the ball, I just can't quite get the ball in the air when I want to.

Any help would be much appreciated:)

(I'm using a JDH APX795 XLB in case that helps)

Nice stick choice. There are plenty of videos available on youtube that you can find to give you some tips. For me, it's angling my stick face a little more to get under the ball, and lowering the height of my stick to the ground. This results in a lower contact with the ball which in turn raises the shot height.

Thanks, I will try that at training on Monday. Not so sure about my stick though, it's good but it lacks something that my DF24 carbon of last season had, I think I've just not been as impressed by it
