yes I've seen that with your new bunch.
the screwing over has irked me somewhat! final straw ......
Probably the wise choice.
Will have to see if SCC, The Dutch or SRC need a fat keeper next season. Pity the choice is so limited.
you could always play for IA or Khalsa!
or 1 of the others. no thanks
have already done 1 season here in such a club
could be time to take up golf.
that game annoys the hell out of me. my slice is so good I can get the ball to come back to me.
this is how a team looks playing in SE Asia when its 34 degrees in the shade and high humidity.
2nd half of a league game against the top of the table team (our own A's) and with no subs on the bench!
And two of those players are physically very fit.
did you spot the 4th player behind the goal?
I was assuming that was Rego having a heat stroke induced vomit.
don't think he vommed but can't have been far off
well Singapore Div 1 (2nd tier) finished with Tornados HC at both ends of the table. A team finished top with 10 wins 1 loss 1 Draw. My team, the Beez, to my shame finished bottom with 1 win 10 losses and 0 Draws. First time I've ever been relegated in 25 years. but we shouldn't have been in that league anyway having only finished 5th in Div 2 last season.
what is the story with the play offs this year?
Scheduled for F1 weekend
ha ha ha
John and Inselaffen, do you guys still ply your trade in Singapore?
John, I recognised the Delta pitch in your avatar instantly. Fond memories! :')
I'm graduating from university in the UK and going back home for good this summer, itching to get back into the sport I grew up playing.
No, john headed home and I'm in Dubai.
If you feel like playing for Tornados send me a pm and I'll put you in touch with them.
Also delta isn't used much these days. All league games are out at sengkang.
For shame! I'm with SCC, we've come across you lot quite a few times!
It's a real bummer Delta isn't used much nowadays, it used to be such a great location for hockey. Nobody likes to drive out to Sengkang just because the government built it for the Junior World Cup and it's Singaporean mentality to use something just to derive value from it.
Delta's playing host to a bit of a warm-up mini-league preceding the regular season at the moment, I believe.
Yes that's right. Men's prem and div 1 have started already at sengkang as well as ladies leagues. Other men's leagues will be later in the year
