My one is the gallery link in the top bar. I know steve said he would fix this but he is obviously busy with other things, so if it can be added again that would be my vote.

On the Profile bit could you add Skype to the instant messenger section in the profile, as i think some people also have that other than MSN ICQ etc... plus in some instances its a little betterĀ  :p

Just a quick question/suggestion... when a date gets entered in the Calendar does it flash up at the top of the screen so that people can see that there maybe something on on that day and if they are near could go down and watch or take part in said event?? if not then i think maybe that might be a good idea... sorry if it does and i have just suggested something that already happens

I would suggest because you alredy have 'custom prifle field' you could just add "Stick" field under "Club"

I've added such field to my own forum and I think it would look kinda cool :)

    How about a Glossary section:

With abbreviations and what they mean
    i.e.
IMO = In My Opinion (took me ages to work that out lol )

and a hockey specific section for things like PC (Penelty corner) or SC (Short Corner) both mean the same thing but refered to differently in many different parts of the world so it would look something like this

Back-line: (Also referred to as the baseline or endline) The line indicating the end of the field on opposite sides of the pitch, including the goal line between the goal posts.

Penalty Corner: (Also refered to as 'PC' or 'SC' = short corner) When a defending player intentionally hits the ball over the back-line or commits an unintentional foul in his or her defensive D, the ball is placed on the back-line about 9.14 meters from the nearest goalpost, where the attacking team takes possession.

Thats great... thanks Keely :) ;)

but was just wondering if it might be better as a dedicated page and a button at the top, Just for the newbies and people that are a bit slow at working things out like myself :baffled:

If we have too many FAQ pages, newbies won't read any of them or have a tough time finding the really important information... like how to search for existing threads.

a hover over feature so that when you put the mouse over the title of a thread a box comes up showing the first few words in the first post, i've seen this in a few forums but i have no idea how easy it is to implement

    Another suggestion

Possibly a limit to the number of times a person can add and take rep points in one day?

It's high time we revisit the issue of other limitations on new members due to recent abuses that have gone unchecked:

    • limiting the number of posts they can make per day - 15 until post count is 100
    • limiting the number of new threads they can post per day - 1 until post count is 50
    • limiting the number of rep points they can award per day - 1 until post count is 50

Those are my suggestions absent a more active moderating policy to deal with individuals who don't respect the community norms.

Fully agreed. I know how the mods feel about this, but I think it would be a positive change that does not seriously limit contributions. 15 posts per day is quite a few, I don't think I've even made 15 posts a day in ages, so I don't think it is an unfair limitation by any means.

I dont know whether or not it is unfair but it does seem highly unnecessary.
Like you say yourself you haven't made more than 15 posts in one day for a long time so what would then be the benefit of limiting new comers?
