Is anybody heading over to Belgium this weekend ?

Anybody care to make any predictions? Will Wimbledon make the final ?

Unfortunately not although think a couple of our 1st team will be attending Simon.

Roper was right at the top of his game in leading Wimbledon to the final 4. He and all others in the Wimbo squad will need to be much better to get past OR. I cannot see past OR for the title and hope it's a final against Dragons. The atmosphere for that would be absolutely phenomenal.

But frankly all matches are mouthwatering prospects.

Yes, already here, the weather is sweltering

Come to support the 3 Brooklands cast offs, aka Wimbledon:)
Want W to win obviously, but hard pressed to look beyond OR

Fingers crossed for good games and an English victory.

I'm going to be there!

Wimbledon are the underdogs by a fair margin, but that was true for their previous two matches as well.

    Sunglasses, good planning!

Could you smuggle an ice bath in your hand luggage?

I'll be heading over tomorrow night. Can't see Wimbo knocking off the OR, but stranger things have happened and finals are usually anyone's game.

Got to say I'm massively looking forward to attending my first finals, not just for the hockey, but also the supporters. How much would EH give to have supporters like that is this country?!!

Also really interesting how the EHL recognise how much flares contribute and are part of the history of the competition, and so make provisions for them to be used. Can you image what would happen if someone let off a flare at LV!!!

Who else, apart from Pete Friend, went to Wimbledon from BMU?

Phil Roper 08/09 and Henry Weir 07/08 or at least thats when they scored some goals and got entered into fixtureslive.
Note neither of them went direct.
I think Phil was Chester -Brooklands - Sheffield H - Wimbledon
And Henry was Crewe V - Brooklands -Loughborough - Wimbledon
Not 100% sure in either case really, too hot (35°c) to exercise brain and fingers in a google session.

Arrived at our hotel to find it closed. Permanently. Advise of Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. Don't Panic.

    Can't disagree

Found one for tonight. Unfortunately not within walking distance of KHC Dragons. Still, that gives time to find one for tomorrow.

Argument with Expedia booked for Monday. Place has been closed since before we booked.

Didn't think there were any within walking distance! Mine is just down the road, 10k away!

Very jealous of all of those attending! I'll have to make do with a stream...

Bailey needs a huge game against Mink vdWeerden.

Missing Hoare is a huge loss.

But then again, you knock off UHC and Mannheim to get there, and god is shining on you!

Hopefully been more careful with choice of seats for the next match. Can do without flares and jack in the box fans leaping up and blocking the view/replays.
