Guesses for those in contention to win it this year?

I'm gonna go for either Rotterdam HC (should have won it last year with the team they had!) or Waterloo Ducks HC who are comprehensively smashing every team in the Belgium top flight at the moment.

I think this is a Belgium year! As long as they don't choke this year.

I don't think the Belgians will do quite as well as last two years where they won bronze/silver with Dragons. A lot of teams have lost a lot of top class overseas players and at this early stage I'm going with Rotterdam and Koln to reach the final. One thing is for sure Cardiff need to makle the most of this weekend ...but Kelburne have got a really good draw and got in a group with a Polish side, so like Garvey last year, have a chance of getting to round 2. As always, can't see any of the Brit. sides progressing o the semis unless they get a favourable draw and play each other in last 8!

Broadcast has just started, and the first game will be on in 5 minutes.
Either on EHL website or youtube.

Unless there is some kind of geoblocking in place, I reckon you should be able to view it.

    Good luck

Good start for Surb! I thought they could have been a bit more ruthless in the D though.

So Dixon just got his second green card (both seemed to be personal penalties as far as I could see/hear) something I was told was not possible some time ago

A lot of strange decisions going on in this game.

The above that Nic has mentioned - seemed to be the same offence
Should have been a short corner for Beeston earlier when the Beeston Attacker wasn't given 5m when receiving an aerial on the edge of the D with only the keeper to beat (correct me on this if I'm wrong please)
And Willars Yellow for an innocuous coming together that should have just been play on! (my opinion)

Play on with the Cardiff guy on the ground due to Willars missing the ball and impeding him...... .....hmmmmm...... maybe not!
Must admit, didn't pay too much attention to game as wasn't too good a standard. I had already made up my mind on that Spanish umpire who carded Willars though .... attitude/question at the PC that Cardiff referred saying defender was 5m away when taken.

I think with the Willars yellow, if the umpire blows the foul then he has to go. The Cardiff player was at full pace coming down the wing, Willars body language from the start looked like he was going to stop the guy no matter what, but then pulls to shadow the guy, swings a stick in misses everything resulting in more of an obstruction than anything. Cardiff guy looses the ball

Its possible... but only if it's for separate offenses.
