    Predictions for this weekends matches?

Rot Weiss Koln vs KHC Dragons
    Bloemendal vs Amsterdam

Think this years Final 4 is one of the best there's been in recent years. I follow Amsterdam, Rot Weiss Koln and KHC Dragons in their respective National Leagues so very happy they've all made the Final 4.

Would love to see Amsterdam turn over Bloemendal, although this will be a tough ask. Hoping Bloemendal's recent tough defeats to Rotterdam in the play offs will give Amsterdam the impetus to win this game though!

Happy to see either side make it to the Final from the other game. Can the giant killers KHC progress to the final this year after a couple of years of going very close? Or will Koln finally live up to their potential and edge past KHC?

Rot Weiss Koln vs KHC Dragons - Rot Weiss win on shuttles
Bloemendaal vs Amsterdam - Bloemendaal win 3-2

Both games will definitely be close!

I'm pretty sure that was my predicted final back in the RO16 thread. Only downside of the weekend is the linited number of games. Nothing better than a full weekend of EHL hockey.

For those of us with only a small knowledge of European hockey, would anyone mind giving a little preview of the final four teams?

It would be great to hear about how their domestic seasons went, what their strengths and weaknesses are etc. It would really make for some interesting knowledge and to help get a bit of background before watching these matches.

    thanks!

Best place for that would be on the EHL Website: http://www.ehlhockey.tv/#/schedule/MzI0Ng==

You can watch highlights of previous games, read match reports, watch interviews and see information on the teams (and other European Hockey games/leagues).

They revamped the website for this year EHL and its much better.

Is anyone else having trouble with the stream? Keeps dropping out, or just going unwatchable with pixelation for me here in Aus.

No problem with bandwidth, so I'm not the problem :(

Dragons need to trap the ball better. Hope they get the next goal to keep the game interesting.
Stretch - working for me fine in the UK. Is it worth trying via youtube's EHL channel?

New game perhaps - "Angry umpires?" (or maybe more accurately, frustrated (with player not listening) umpires). Go Hamish!

The two Dragons goals would literally have broken me in two if I'd saved them.

    3:2 to RWK.
    4 mins left.

    3:3
    3 mins to go.

    Extra time.

Perhaps a case for rewriting the regs : Player needs to come off for 2 mins if (and only if) they receive medical treatment rather than "if the medic enters the field of play"
    Rule D8(f) : http://cdn.ehlhockey.tv/uploads/pressinformation/2012-2013 EUROHOCKEYLEAGUE (Sept12---).pdf

So I guess Colin said yes to the request by the physio to come on, while Hamish was asking if they were needed.

Dragons take the lead! But down to 10 for the remaining 3 mins. RWK bringing off the keeper.
Jeez! 4:4 with the last play of extra time. Off to the shuttles.
Stretch - really hope you got your stream working.

Congrats to the Dragons, and shock news as the Germans lose a penalty shoot out.

For this game now no idea who will win, probably go to shuttles.

Amsterdam to win 4-3 in extra time!

I'm on a wifi is the problem. Test speed says 7mbps but the piece of s*** is obviously too flaky to hold the stream steady :( such a good game to be missing :( :( :(
