    Hi,
I am looking to buy a camera to video matches etc for analysis. Would anyone recommend one? I saw a guy recently with a Sony that streamed directly to his phone. Has anyone any experience of these type of cameras? I wouldn't be going mad with the money now though!!

Depends how far you want to go with it, what (if any) software you use, etc. I have a camera worth 180€ which works fine, but you can go as high/low as you like with budget, although I'd stay with the well-known products like Sony and Panasonic.

I've also just bought as Sony Action Cam, basically a cheaper version of the GoPro which streams to my iPhone when in range, and its a good picture too if you don't have anyone to man the camera, wide lens gets pretty much all of the pitch in from a tower behind the goal, and you can just about see the other end without a zoom.

Thanks JE87. The Sony Action Cam sounds like what I'm looking for. I'll have a search and see what kind of price they go for over here. I am just starting out with the video analysis, so don't want to go overboard with the cost.

They're around £150 in the UK, 180€ in Europe.

Search for veo.co. It's a danish company who are producing cameras for sports which don't need an operator. I've sent my interest and waiting for a reply from them.

They look amazing. Probably out of budget, but I registered my interest out of curiosity! Thanks.

I have a Sony HDR-AS20. I think there are newer options out now though.
