India defeating Belgium and Pakistan defeating Netherlands both games 4-2. Is it just home game advantage?

Who will win Australia or Germany, India or Pakistan, England or Argentina?

Interesting set of quarter finals. All 4 the lower seeded team won. Not often that happens.

And 3 of the games were 4-2, other one had a 2 goal margin as well.

Kind of gives you the feeling the pool stage is a bit pointless!

a bit "pointless" - hockey mad99 - completely pointless, the sooner the FIH scrap this format the better - the sport is being made to look a joke to those outside of it by this format - how can the two teams that finished bottom of their pools play the Final

I've been watching the FIH videos for this tournament, and looking into how the pools worked I couldn't believe how bizarre it was. Massively agree with the above post, how on earth can zero teams be eliminated after the group stage?
